Sunday School and Youth Activities

We believe that God meets us where we are, and we are called to do the same for our children. As they grow we want them to feel secure in their faith and themselves and know that they always have a home at Saint Timothy’s.

Our teachers believe that children learn enthusiastically and best when they are engaging with material and activities that they love. Volunteers who have gone through Safe Church* Training lead lessons incorporating crafts, science activities, games or even performing activities that tie back to the lesson. Children start in the service with their families, are released after the Gloria for a short class and then rejoin their families for Holy Communion.

  • Pre-K through Second Grade: Meets during the 10:00AM service

  • Third Grade - Fifth Grade: Meets during the 10:00AM service

  • Sixth Grade - High School: Meets after the 10:00AM service, during coffee hour. Once a month Youth Group meets from 6:00-7:30PM the first Wednesday of every month.

Kids as Part of Our Worship Community

Children are an important part of our worship community at St. Tim’s! They participate in our worship as intercessors and acolytes. They can also participate in Jr. Flower Guild and as part of our children’s bell choir.

Almighty God, heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the joy and care of children: Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as we bring them up, that we may teach them to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
