Rain Garden Tour

St. Tim’s will be installing a rain garden on our grounds this year.

A rain garden is planted to collect rain water and allow it to soak into the ground. Planted with grasses and flowering perennials, rain gardens can be a beautiful way to reduce runoff, help filter out pollutants, and provide food and shelter for butterflies, song birds and other wildlife.

Interested folks can join us at 577 on October 22 at 3:00 PM for a tour and informational session on rain gardens. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board for those interested or feel free to call the office to register.
