We’ll cap off our Period Product Drive for Solace Health and Wellness with a packing party after the 10:00 AM service on June 30. All are welcome and we’ll have snacks!
The Period Product Drive will run from May 20- June 30th.
Period poverty affects one out of four people who menstruate. Period poverty is the lack of access to safe and hygienic menstrual products during monthly periods, frequently due to affordability. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance programs (SNAP) does not allow the purchase feminine hygiene products. Not having access to needed supplies can prevent women and girls from going to work or school, or from otherwise addressing their basic needs. Please consider donating to St. Tim’s period product drive - look for the bin in the hallway. The items collected will go to Solace Health and Wellness who will then distribute them to local organizations in need. Items that will be gratefully received include:
tampons (highest priority)
pads and liners
underwear
mini hand sanitizer
