2024 Annual Stewardship Campaign

They shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream. It shall not fear when heat comes, and its leaves shall stay green; in the year of drought it is not anxious, and it does not cease to bear fruit.

-Jeremiah 17:8

The theme of our annual giving campaign is Rooted in Abundance.

Here at St. Tim's, we are dramatically increasing the work we are doing.  We are blessed with opportunities to help our neighbors and to do more with what we have.  We are doing things that matter.  We are doing things that change the world, at least for our broader community in N.W. Ohio.

We are more than the sum of our parts.  That 'more' comes to us from the Holy Spirit, acting through each of us.  But while we grow our ministries through the capital campaign, we also must keep our church operating through our annual giving.  Our goal is to do what we can, not what we cannot.  If there is an obstacle in our path, we do not need to charge through it, but can go around it.

As you consider the ways in which we can each participate in the annual stewardship campaign, don't give until it hurts.  Be thankful for the abundance of God's gifts in your life.  Give until it feels good.   Give until you know that the gold with which you have been entrusted is flourishing, and you are personally participating in changing lives.

Why We Give

  • “St. Tim's is where I have put down my spiritual roots. The warm and supportive family atmosphere at St Tim's gives me loving support on a daily basis. As with any family we do not always agree but we do always care for each other.”

  • “The Episcopal Church gave me stability at a time when my life was overwhelmed by unwelcome change. My life today is made so much richer by our "forest," our community of faith. St. Tim's has embraced me as a unique individual and give me the opportunity to use my time, talent and treasures. This sense of community has extended to an LGBTQ+ member of my family, who was not accepted in other religious traditions.”

  • “St. Tim's is my family. It is my home. It is a place where I can feel God's presence. Giving allows me to be part of it all. It allows me to feel connected to God and to the church.”

  • "I contribute to St. Tim's for multiple reasons. St. Tim's provides the spiritual gifts I need in my everyday life, we have a beautiful building to gather in and a wonderful music program to support our worship services. I also want to help grow of our youth program. All of this is not possible without the monetary gifts, no matter of the amount, from everyone."
