Ushers have a number of important duties related to the worship service: to hand out service bulletins to arriving parishioners and guests; to assist in the collection of the offering; to present the elements of bread and wine; and to control the flow of communicants to the rail. In addition, the ushers are asked to count the members present, to straighten up after the service and to turn the lights on and off. All parishioners are welcome to serve as Ushers. Interested persons will be trained and may be asked to serve 3 - 4 times per year.
