Sheila’s Super Seniors Fitness Classes
Each class is $4 or free with your Silver Sneakers Card. Information on obtaining your card below. No need to sign-up ahead of the class.
Tuesday and Thursday Classes
9:15 – 10:00 am Cardio and Strength
- Intermediate exercise class for the active older adult. Low impact cardio movements will raise the heart rate, while light resistance equipment will be used to strengthen the muscles. No exercise will require you to get on or off of the floor. Please bring a light set of handweights either 1, 2 or 3lbs. If you do not have handweights, 2 water bottles will be provided for use which are appropriately 1lb each. Please also bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during the class.
- 10:15 – 11:00 am Stretch and Tone
Low impact, dynamic movements and stretches are the foundation of this class. A chair will be utilized for appropriately half of the exercises making it well suited for beginners. No exercise will require you to get on or off of the floor. Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during the class.
