“When I was naked, you clothed me.” Matthew 25:36

In Spring 2008, parishioner Helen Nwauwa wondered if it would be possible for St. Timothy's to operate a clothing bank for those in need. Thanks to her vision and the work of Nan Myers, our then Outreach Respresentative on Vestry, and Hope Jarvis, who currently organizes The Clothesline, what started as an imagining of fulfilling God's promise became a reality in April 2009.
We are now accept clean, gently used seasonal clothing and shoes to be distributed free to men, women and children in our community. Donations may be dropped off in the marked donation bin to the right of the church's main entry, just off the parking lot.
The Clothesline is open every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month,
from 10:00am until noon, and by special appointment.

Clothesline Celebrates Open House
Happy first birthday to our Clothesline Ministry! On Sunday, March 7, 2010, the Clothesline held an Open House in celebration of our first year of operation. Dozens of representatives from area churches, social service agencies, and government offices were invited to tour our space and partner together to serve our community. The weather was gorgeous that day, which may have contributed to our disappointing turnout, but we have already had new clients directed to us by the organizations we invited, so our publicity efforts are paying off anyway. Thank you to everyone who helped set up, provided food, and came out to the event to show your support. The food table was very popular! Leftover goodies were donated to Heartland of Perrybsurg, another worthy cause.
