Adult Formation Opportunities

Worship News: Holy Week with the People of St. Timothy’s Church | April 5 – 12, 2020

Palm Sunday, April 5, 2020:  Beginning with the Liturgy of Palms (blessing in the nave at 8 a.m.; in the Courtyard at 9:55, weather permitting, parish hall if not), the triumphal shout, “Hosanna!” that echoes rapidly and then fades to be overpowered by shouts of “Crucify!”  Come walk the way of Jesus’ passion with us (this year, from Matthew’s passion account). Wednesday in Holy Week, 6:00 pm:  Stations of the Cross and the Eucharist.  Follow the scriptural stations of Jesus’ journey from the judgment seat of Pilate to the cross and tomb (weather permitting, outside), then gather ‘round God’s table to remember the incredible gift of life won for us. Midweek Lenten Experience | 

Fr. Jeff is seeking several persons to help pull together a series of “fellowship dinner/conversations” with brothers and sisters of the broader faith community (think our friends from Temple B’nai Israel, the Islamic Center, etc.).  March 4th’s session is already booked with our friends of the Jewish Federation – but more structure and invitation await a team’s attention.  Here’s an example of the introduction to a similar series/dinner of the Jewish Federation and a Presbyterian congregation in Toledo: “Welcome.
