Begun as a resource for the lay preachers serving the many “clergy-vacant” congregations five years ago, this gathering has become not only a great study group, but a powerful fellowship that draws together persons representing diverse congregations, races, communities and perspectives. We meet every Tuesday at 4:30 pm at All Saints’ Church, 563 Pinewood, just off Collingwood, near the Toledo Museum of Art. Y’all come (and bring your bible)! Carpooling is available from St. Timothy’s parking lot at 4:00 pm.
We’re now taking names for the next dialogue circle. “One of the best curriculum’s I have ever experienced” (Fr. Jeff), Sacred Ground is a race dialogue series designed for these times. It is an attempt to be responsive to the profound challenges that currently exist in our society. It is focused on the challenges that swirl around issues of race and racism, as well as the difficult but respectful and transformative dialogue we need to have with each other about them. It invites participants to walk back through history in order to peel away the layers that brought us to today, and to do so in a personal way, reflecting on family histories and stories, as well as important narratives […]
A journey to visit our four Gospel homes (of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), the purpose of our journey is to experience what Christmas means from each perspective and how Christmas is celebrated there. Two offerings have begun – Monday evenings at 7:00 pm & Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 pm. Both series gather in the Parish Library. Contact Ginger Brown to register.

Christmas Pageant December 15 at 10:00 am Rehearsals: Rehearsals continue on Sunday mornings (including December 1) during the 9:45 am Sunday School hour. Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, December 14, 9:00 am to noon (wee ones are encouraged to come at 11:00 am) Contact Kristin and Ben Otley to help. While classroom activities will be provided for those not directly engaged in the day’s rehearsal, attendance every Sunday will provide four rehearsals for the pageant! Please mark your calendars for these Sundays (December 1, Advent I, will be a Sunday off due to many families’ Thanksgiving travel). The pageant will be offered as the “word” portion of our worship for the 10:00 am service on December 15.
