Offers a 24-hour crisis hotline, legal advocacy, educational services, father mentoring, support groups, individual counseling, residential shelter services, community education and more.



Each year volunteers work tirelessly to provide assistance to families in our community. In conjunction with Perrysburg Christian's United, The Salvation Army, and Toys for Tots, the Perrysburg Township Fire Department provides one day for families to receive food and hygiene essentials, clothing, toys, etc. Donations are accepted throughout the year and preparation for the event begins in the fall. This special ministry opens its doors to everyone each Friday of the month, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., and by appointment. This timing coincides with the local food pantry at Grace United Methodist Church, and free lunch program at Zoar Lutheran Church. We accept clean, gently used, seasonal clothing and shoes that are distributed free-of-charge to men, women, and children in our community. Donations may be left in the marked donation bin to the right of the church's back entrance, off the parking lot.

Please note: You must live in Northern Wood County North of RT 582 to receive assistance, bring a bill or another form of proof of your residency. Assistance is limited to 1 time per month for an adult or 2 times per month for a family. (They do not require referrals but ask that those coming for assistance really need it.)
