Fr. Jeff BunkeFr. Jeffry L. Bunke - Rector

Fr. Jeff joined St. Timothy's in October of 2013, and since then has inspired and challenged us like no other. For Fr. Jeff, worshiping is not a passive experience. He weaves a service with prayers ancient and modern, music that lifts up your soul, and a sermon that inspires. In humor and love, we join with Fr. Jeff to experience, in a very real way, the incredible love of God and power of the Holy Spirit.

A southern girl, born in Memphis and raised in Natchez, Ann’s family moved to the Midwest (Tell City, Indiana), completely erasing her southern drawl.  Ann married a Pittsburgher, harpsichordist/pianist, and began a collaboration with him that has lasted decades performing music from the 13th century to the 21st . An accomplished performer specializing in chamber music, the French mélodie, and oratorio, Ann holds degrees from Indiana University, Bowling Green State University, and a doctorate from the University of Cincinnati.  Her professional career has taken her to Paris and Hanoi – in addition to many soloist performances domestically.  Featured in seven world premieres, as well as two recordings of new works on the Access label, Ann has released a CD of Georges Auric songs. She retired from teaching music theory and private voice at the College of Musical Arts at BGSU.  In addition, Ann cantors at St. Rose, in Perrysburg and Temple Emunim in Sylvania.  Since 2008, she has been singing and traveling with the Canterbury Singers.
