St. Timothy's Memorial Garden

The Memorial Garden
1 The church has traditionally been the natural repository and final resting place for the mortal remains of deceased member of the Christian community. Cremation is simple, reverent and in accordance with the teaching of the Episcopal Church.

St. Timothy’s Memorial Garden is a beautifully landscaped area situated among the trees on the east lawn. An attractive curved brick wall surrounds the peaceful garden area providing two options for a safe, permanent and serene resting place for the remains of deceased members of our parish and their friends and one option for memorializing loved ones whose mortal remains are interred elsewhere.

2 Interment in the Garden Wall
The outer curved brick wall is the Columbarium containing niches for the placement of the ashes after cremation. A name plate affixed to the module cover will be inscribed with the name of the deceased and the years of birth and death.

3 Burial in the Garden
Inside the Columbarium wall lies the Memorial Garden, providing sites for the burial of ashes. No marker shall be placed where ashes have been interred. Instead, the name of the deceased with years of birth and death will be inscribed on a brass plaque located on the south side of the center wall in the garden.

Memorials
Those who wish to memorialize a loved one interred elsewhere may purchase a name plate for inclusion on the brass plaque located on the north side of the center wall in the garden.

Eligibility
Members, immediate family of the membership, and those approved by the St. Timothy’s Memorial Garden Trustees.

Cost
Garden Wall Interment $1,500.00
